Meet Our Team

Outside of the insurance world Steve loves to hunt and fish whenever he can make time to get out and do so. This is a product of him growing up in Houma, LA and being surrounded by miles of marsh. In his prime he was a decathlete for the ULL Track & Field team. Today you are more likely to see him at the Rotary Club of Ponchatoula than at the track. Although Steve is a Producer at Jackson-Vaughan for Personal and Commercial lines that does not mean he only sells insurance. You may see him hanging lights, working on marketing projects, or helping Sparky cook for any number of the many events we are associated with.

A need for change and a desire to learn something new landed Paula in the Insurance industry 20 years ago. Shortly after finding her niche, she took on the role of becoming a wife and mother, both of which she feels extremely blessed. Paula has fed her passion for knowledge and the love of the industry by earning 3 Insurance designations, and is currently working on a 4th. Her personal time is filled with raising a teenage daughter, bowling with her husband in a local amateur league, and capping off her days with a good book. We must mention, that when cut, this home grown bayou girl bleeds Purple & Gold!

Lisha has been in the insurance for over 20 years, working in both the agency and underwriting side of the industry. She grew up moving around the country with her parents and spent most of her childhood and teen years in Arkansas, Colorado, Oregon and California. She has lived in the Ponchatoula and Hammond area for over 35 years since starting her family. Lisha usually spends her time away from the office with her four children and four grandchildren. Her hobbies include cooking, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her dog. She has been know to make baby blankets and afghans for her friends and family. You may see her at Special Olympics which she attends every year to watch one of her granddaughters. She is also a big fan of NFL Football and rarely misses a Saints or Packers game.

Debbie has been part of the Jackson-Vaughan family for over 15 years, all of which have been spent in the Commercial Lines Department.
Outside of the office she spends most of her time with friends and family, especially with her 8 grandchildren. She is originally from New Orleans, but considers Tangipahoa her home. Debbie loves football at all levels, particularly the New Orleans Saints. She enjoys shopping with friends and going on family vacations. She loves dogs of any size, but is exceptionally partial to English Bulldogs. Debbie has never met a stranger, because she befriends everyone she meets! She is amazingly friendly, outgoing, and loves to help others.

When not running around the soccer field with his daughter Anna, Wil is running around off the soccer field chasing his son Walker. Wil is kept quite busy with his three children Anna (11), Walker (4), and Fisher (new). He is a member of the Ponchatoula Rotary Club and helps annually with the presentation of scholarships at the High School for the Rotary Club and the Ned Welles Memorial Scholarship Fund. Wil is a lifelong resident of Ponchatoula and has deep roots in the area with his father, grandfather, and great grandfather running the local hardware store, Richardson’s Hardware.
